ANNOUNCEMENT: MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR DR. JERRY TETREAU
Dear TRACS and Partner Schools,
It is with both great sorrow and God-given peace that we announce that on Monday, January 4, Dr. Jerry C. Tetreau, Chancellor and Co-Founder of International Baptist College & Seminary, Chandler, Arizona, departed this world and entered the presence of His Savior.
Dr. Tetreau co-founded International Baptist College in 1981 and served as a faculty member, the Academic Dean, Vice President, President, and Chancellor. Dr. Tetreau’s influence on Christian Education and legacy to IBCS are profound and cannot be quantified.
Survived by his wife of over 60 years, Kit announced her husband’s death stating, “Jerry is resting in the arms of Jesus.” The Tetreaus have two children, both in ministry, and five grandchildren.
A memorial service for “Dr. T” will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2:00 p.m. in the Tri-City Baptist Church Sanctuary, 2211 W Germann Rd., Chandler, Arizona 85286. Please contact becky.stertzbach@ibcs.edu for additional details.
